According to TED.com: “Amanda Bennett and her husband were passionate and full of life all throughout their lives together — and up until the final days, too. Bennett gives a sweet yet powerful talk on why, for the loved ones of the dying, having hope for a happy ending shouldn’t warrant a diagnosis of “denial.” She calls for a more heroic narrative for death — to match the ones we have in life.”
“In 1997 Bennett shared the Pulitzer Prize for national reporting for a Wall Street Journalinvestigation on the struggle against AIDS, and in 2001 received a second Pulitzer Prize, for public service, as the lead of a team at The Oregonian. In 2010 Bennett was elected as co-Chairman of the Pulitzer Prize Board.”
“Bennett has written six books. Her most recent book, The Cost of Hope, is part-memoir, part-investigative report, about her seven-year struggle within the American healthcare system to save her husband from cancer.”

No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you have probably encountered Abraham-Hicks and the Law of Attraction at some point. While I haven’t been a recent participant in their work, I did spend 10 years on their “tape of the month” club in the 90’s. As many of you know, Jerry Hicks died several months ago. When I saw this video, made at the first Abraham event after his death, I wanted to share it with you.
According to Abraham-Hicks:
“Jerry Hicks made his transition into Non-Physical on November 18th, 2011. At the Abraham-Hicks Workshop held on December 10th, 2011 in Phoenix Arizona — the first after Jerry’s “croaking” — Abraham, who is Source Energy translated by Esther Hicks, responded to questions from several workshop participants, and gave their loving perspective on Jerry’s passing and its effect on Esther and those touched by his life’s work. This video is compiled from several different portions of the 3-hour workshop in order to provide a complete record of Abraham’s words.”
“Esther and Jerry spent over 25 years creating and distributing the “Teachings of Abraham”, and are the authors of numerous audio recordings, videos, and best-selling books. Since Jerry’s passing, Esther is continuing the work that they started together and has planned nearly 40 workshops and a cruise seminar for 2012.”
