Glittery Rainbow Mandala Drawing with Glitter Gel Pens by BeCre8ive2 is today’s tutorial. You may remenber we did another of her tutorials, Leaf Mandala Doodle Drawing by BeCre8ive2, last month. Here is what she says about today’s video:
“Do-it-yourself glittery rainbow mandala drawing created on black paper with Glitter Gel Pens Supplies: black paper, glitter gel pens, drawing compass, ruler and pencil.”
These mandalas were created throughout 2017 and finalized in September. See Part 1 for more information. I hope you enjoy this new energy as well as a quote from Thich Nhat Hanh.
Both suffering and happiness are of an organic nature,
which means they are both transitory;
they are always changing.
The flower, when it wilts, becomes the compost.
The compost can help grow a flower again.
Happiness is also organic and impermanent by nature.
It can become suffering and suffering can become happiness again.
“Change” is the theme and name that this new set of mandalas have given me as their name. Today I am presenting Mandalas from the Heart of Change Part 1. The rest of the series will be presented in the coming weeks.
Throughout 2017 I created mandalas as I always do. Periodically I would go through them and see which ones wanted to stay in a collection permanently and discard the others. I never know what I am going to create when I sit down to do one, and while they always seem to want to be published as a set, I never know what the name or theme is until they are all done. Early in September I began the final work of printing each image to see which would work well in print (what looks good on a computer screen doesn’t always translate to print) and see which images really wanted to be out in the world as a set.
There are now 22 images, whose name, Mandalas from the Heart of Change, came to me as I was finalizing them. You can see them all on my gallery page, https://nwcreations.com/galleries/mandalas/, or just view and savor a few at a time as I release them on this blog over the coming weeks.
I hope you find inspiration and joy in interacting with them.
