How To Draw Mandala OctoCircles by DearingDraws is another tutorial by Dearing Wang. See the end of the post for links to some of the tutorials of his we have shared in past posts.
Here is what Dearing says about this video:
“How to draw Mandala using 8 intersecting circles and some colors.”
“This shape is often used as the underlying grid to draw symmetries of octogon geometries. Which is one of the basic polygonal forms that are used to draw sacred geometric patterns in general.”
Today’s video, Amethyst Mandala – How I Created this Mandala by Elemental Mandala, shows you how Elemental Mandala creates a mandala using photographs of a beautiful amethyst crystal. For those of you who love photographing nature this could lead you down a whole new path of creation.
This is what he says about this mandala:
“All of my mandalas begin as single photographs of nature – everything from lava and fire to leaves and water. I put this behind the scenes video together to show you how the process I used to create my Amethyst Mandala.”
“When you look at the Amethyst Mandala, it might be a little tricky to tell that it actually came from a photograph of an amethyst crystal. That’s why I wanted to show you the crystal itself, and what it actually looked like in real time from my camera lens. :)”
“The finished piece you see later in the video is a 24×24” Metal Infusion Print of the Amethyst Mandala. It is finished with hanging hardware and spacers on the back that allow the mandala to appear to be “floating” on the wall when it is displayed.”
“This Amethyst Mandala is available in these different sizes: 30×30″ 24×24″ 16×16″ 12×12″ (Custom sizes can be anywhere from 5×5″ – 40×40″)”
Pyrography art for mandala making is the subject of today’s tutorial. This video was posted by Dr. Tarrin P. Lupo about the mandalas made by Kate from BurntBirch.etsy.com. She gives a step by step tutorial on how she makes mandalas on birch.
Here is what Dr. Lupo has to say about this video: “Watch Kate from BurntBirch.etsy.com wood burn a mandala design. She shares her expert tips in pyrography for burning sacred geometric patterns. If you enjoyed this video please like and share it. “
This is what Kate has to say about mandalas: “Mandala (Sanskrit Mandala, “circle”) is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions, representing the Universe. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space, and as an aid to meditation and trance induction.”
