Following last week’s theme of beach art by Michel Jobard (Mandala Monday -The Beach Art of Michel Jobard), I have found another artist, Jehan-Benjamin, also known as J.ben, whose sand art I would like to share with you.
First is a timelapse and photo montage of a beach sand art made on the French west coast.
Next is a video of a beach art workshop with students of the Lycée Rompsay of Rochelle. They each made their creation in circles in the 4 corners of the drawing.
Today I have 2 videos for you of Michel Jobard creating his extraordinary beach art. First we have beach art made on the beach of Les Sables d’ Olonne. This mandala Ra Ma Da Sa is inspired by a mantra Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung, powerful mantra used to send healing energy .
Next is another artwork on the beach of Les Sables d’ Olonne called AVEC LE COEUR.
I’ve created a number of posts on creative and unique ways to create mandalas, but today I thought we might go back to the basics and look at simply drawing a mandala. So here are 5 tutorials on just that, how to hand draw a Mandala!
Drawing a Huge Mandala (400x Speed Edit)– by Peter Draws – For those who really want a challenge here are tips on how to stay focused when drawing a VERY large mandala (it took him 27 hours to complete this mandala!).
